THE STARTING LOCATION FOR THE 1ST ASBURY PARK SANTACON WILL BE:

BRADLEY PARK ACROSS RIGHT IN FRONT OF CONVENTION HALL!

Gather with your fellow Santas around the statue of James Bradley, the founder of Asbury Park, and give him a big old SantaCon group hug. Mix and mingle. Drop off your donations. Be ready to head out by 12:30 to our first destination. We will announce the full map of our SantaCon route at this first location. So don’t miss it!

We’re less than 24 hours away now and the excitement is in the air. News stories about SantaCon Asbury Park have been showing up in local papers. The local businesses are abuzz. Come be a part of this historic occasion!

Less than three days away now, and all the preparations have been made. The costumes have been purchased. And now, our numbers are above 500 on Facebook! SantaCon Asbury Park is legit and we’re bringing some silly Santa style to the Jersey Shore in full force! If you want in on the fun, hit up the FB event page above and follow @swayzeclaus on Twitter. This sleigh is about to take off and we got sacks full of awesomeness for the town of Asbury Park. Our numbers are steadily growing! We have close to 400 attending, just on the Facebook event page. Make sure you RSVP! With just one week left to go, hundreds of additional Santas are getting excited for the big day. Asbury Park will be the merriest place in Jersey next Saturday. So make sure you tell your friends and get your donations ready. We are accepting canned or non-perishable food, as well as unwrapped toys. Our charities are looking forward to the help so that they can make this a better holiday season for those in need.

SantaCon is the global tradition of gathering together to spread Christmas cheer at the beginning of December. It’s your chance to be Santa Claus, or a reindeer, elf, or any other holiday character. And now, it’s coming to the Jersey Shore!

This year, beautiful Asbury Park will come alive with red and white merriment as we gather to sing songs, play reindeer games, spread joy, and give to those less fortunate.

EACH PARTICIPANT IS URGED TO BRING ONE CAN OF FOOD OR NON-PERISHABLE ITEM FOR THE FOODBANK OF MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES. YOU CAN ALSO PLAY SANTA FOR REAL BY BRING A TOY TO DONATE TO ASBURY PARK’S LOCAL TOY DRIVE.
